Combustion Chamber

The top section of the engine cylinder from where the air-fuel mixture begins when ignited by a spark plug is known as combustion chamber. Inside a cylinder, the explosion of the combustion pushes the piston down, resulting the force that the transmission delivers to the drive wheels. As most of the air-fuel mixture's combustion taken place in this section, its design and shape can affect power, fuel efficiency, and emissions of an engine.
