Dashboard/ Console

Dashboard is also known as 'console', instrument panel' or ' dash panel' or simply 'dash. It is the part of the body of the vehicle found between the front door and passenger seat. It contains the driving instruments, switches, transmission shifter, cup holders and a storage compartment. But it can also refer to the section of the instrument panel that has the controls for the sound system and climate-control system.
