Disc Brakes

Disc brakes is a type of brake that has two basic components, like a flat rotor attached to the wheel hub that turns with the wheel and a caliper that squeezes the surfaces of the disc near its periphery. Almost all new cars have disc brakes on the front wheels. It provides a more linear response and operates more efficiently at high temperatures and wet conditions than drum brakes.
